The world is becoming too much of a rat race. Consumerism chasing after latest technological breakthroughs, ogling the transfer and exchange of information at millisecond speeds. Everyone tries to fit-in and adapt to the globalizing, borderless world, overtaking others at every minimal road-shoulder-space available. We take a pause and think about this world’s dizzying stage. We refuse to be the rat.
The Advocate of Philippine Fair Trade, Inc (APFTI) is a social development organisation based in Quezon City, aspiring for sustainable development and poverty alleviation through fair trade.
We hope to make this blog a "fair trade community" bringing about different perspectives of fair trade - from the fair trade producers, to partners who advocate fair trade, to students, youth groups, designers, APFTI staff and volunteers.
